Avalon Health Clinic, a new multidisciplinary clinic planned for Greater Victoria, BC, is seeking a founding Endocrinologist to join a new interdisciplinary clinic designed around connected, modern healthcare.

This is an opportunity to practice in an environment that values thoughtful medicine, collaborative care, and coordinated support for patients navigating complex endocrine and metabolic health concerns.

At Avalon, endocrinology will play an important role in supporting patients across diabetes care, hormonal health, metabolic conditions, women’s health, recovery pathways, and chronic disease management within an integrated team environment.

You will work alongside family physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation clinicians, counsellors, and allied health professionals within one connected system designed to improve continuity, communication, and patient experience.

• Provide consultative and longitudinal endocrinology care within a collaborative outpatient setting
• Support patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, hormonal health concerns, and complex chronic disease presentations
• Collaborate closely with family physicians and Nurse Practitioners to support coordinated, whole-person care
• Contribute expertise to Avalon’s broader rehabilitation and recovery pathways where metabolic and endocrine health impact recovery outcomes
• Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and collaborative care planning
• Help shape specialty workflows and systems within a growing clinic environment
• Contribute to a patient experience that feels connected, respectful, and easier to navigate 

You are an Endocrinologist who values collaborative practice, patient education, and thoughtful long-term care.

You bring strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach to complex health concerns. You appreciate autonomy while recognizing the value of integrated care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You may be especially interested in helping to build a modern outpatient model that more effectively supports prevention, chronic disease management, and coordinated specialty care.

• MD with full registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, or eligibility to register
• Certification in Endocrinology and Metabolism with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC), or eligibility
• CMPA coverage
• Interest in collaborative outpatient medicine and interdisciplinary care
• Comfort with EMR systems and team-based workflows
• Strong communication skills and collaborative instincts
• Physicians at varying stages of practice are welcome to apply 

• Flexible practice structure with compensation model discussed based on practice focus and scope
• Opportunity to build consultative, longitudinal, or focused specialty interests within the clinic
• Administrative, scheduling, and operational support, managed centrally
• Full MOA and clinic infrastructure support
