Avalon Health Clinic, a new multidisciplinary clinic planned for Greater Victoria, BC, is seeking founding Kinesiologists to help build the active recovery and performance side of our integrated clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a setting where movement is valued as medicine, rehabilitation is progressive, and physicians, allied health, and recovery specialists work together under one roof.

You will play an important role helping patients move forward after injury, surgery, illness, deconditioning, or major life setbacks.

• Lead exercise therapy, active rehabilitation, reconditioning, and return-to-function programs
• Support patients in our concussion, brain injury, surgical recovery, and ICU recovery pathways
• Help patients rebuild strength, endurance, mobility, confidence, and independence after health setbacks
• Support primary care patients through preventive movement programs, metabolic health support, and chronic disease management
• Work directly alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners, counsellors, and other clinicians
• Help shape Kinesiology programming in a brand-new clinic from day one
• Contribute to a patient experience that feels motivating, practical, and well supported

You are a Kinesiologist who believes movement changes lives.

You enjoy creating progressive, individualized programs that meet people where they are and help them move toward where they want to be.

You’re collaborative, energetic, evidence-informed, and excited by the idea of building something new.

You may be especially drawn to helping people regain confidence after surgery, concussion, illness, injury, or periods of inactivity.

• Active membership in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
• Practicing R.Kin status preferred
• Professional liability insurance through BCAK or equivalent
• Experience in active rehabilitation, post-surgical conditioning, concussion exercise therapy, chronic disease management, return-to-work conditioning, or strength and mobility programming
• Strong communication skills and confidence working within interdisciplinary teams
• A builder mindset and excitement about helping shape a new clinic model

• Compensation: Competitive independent contractor revenue-share model with earning growth tied to caseload development, experience, and specialty expertise
• Transparent compensation pathways discussed during the interview process
• Opportunity to build a strong caseload through internal referrals across rehabilitation and primary care pathways
• Full clinic infrastructure provided, including reception, booking, EMR, billing support, equipment, treatment space, and administrative systems
• Shared charting and integrated communication with physicians and allied health providers

• Location: Saanich (Greater Victoria, BC)
• Start: Phased onboarding through Q3 2026. Clinic opens late 2026
