Registered Acupuncturist

Avalon Health Clinic, a new multidisciplinary clinic planned for Greater Victoria, BC, is seeking founding Registered Acupuncturists to help support recovery, pain management, and whole-person care within our integrated primary care and allied health clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a setting where acupuncture is part of a coordinated healthcare model designed to support recovery, nervous system regulation, pain management, and patient wellbeing.

At Avalon, acupuncturists will work alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, counsellors, kinesiologists, and rehabilitation clinicians within one connected care environment.

• Provide evidence-informed acupuncture care for patients navigating pain, injury recovery, stress-related conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, concussion recovery, and functional health concerns
• Support patients recovering from illness, surgery, injury, chronic pain conditions, and periods of physical or nervous system dysregulation
• Contribute to patient care plans focused on symptom management, recovery support, mobility, stress reduction, and quality of life
• Collaborate closely with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, counsellors, and other clinicians involved in shared patient care
• Participate in Avalon’s rehabilitation and recovery pathways including surgical recovery, brain injury/concussion recovery, and ICU recovery
• Help shape the acupuncture model within a growing interdisciplinary clinic
• Contribute to a patient experience that feels coordinated, compassionate, practical, and well supported 

You are a Registered Acupuncturist who values collaborative care, thoughtful treatment planning, and whole-person recovery.

You enjoy helping patients manage pain, stress, and recovery challenges while working within an interdisciplinary healthcare environment. You appreciate both autonomy and collaboration and value communication across the care team.

You may be especially drawn to rehabilitation-focused care, chronic pain populations, concussion recovery, nervous system regulation, or helping build something meaningful from the ground up.

• Registration in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC as a Registered Acupuncturist
• Professional liability insurance
• Clinical experience or interest in pain management, rehabilitation, concussion care, chronic illness, stress-related conditions, post-surgical recovery, or integrated care populations
• Strong communication skills and comfort working within interdisciplinary teams
• A builder mindset and excitement about helping shape a new clinic model 

• Compensation: Competitive independent contractor revenue-share model with earning growth tied to caseload development, experience, specialty expertise, and sustained demand
• Transparent compensation pathways discussed during the interview process
• Opportunity to build a strong caseload through direct internal referrals from primary care, rehabilitation, and recovery pathways
• Full clinic infrastructure provided including reception, scheduling, EMR, billing support, treatment rooms, and administrative systems
• Shared charting and integrated communication with primary care and allied health teams
